ProFractional-XC is a quick and comfortable laser procedure which is used for improving the overall appearance of your skin. ProFractional-XC therapy uses a laser microbeam to treat thousands of pinpoint areas of your skin. Because only a fraction of the skin is directly treated with the laser, healing time is quick and down time is short.
What Is Profractional-XC
ProFractional-XC uses laser energy to create thousands of microscopic channels in the skin which are surrounded by areas of healthy skin. The untreated skin begin the body’s healing process, and the treated areas stimulate production of new collagen, plumping up the skin and smoothing out wrinkles, lines, scars and irregularities.

Most skin areas can be treated. Popular areas are the face, neck and chest.
ProFractional-XC is a procedure done in our office. Topical anesthetic is usually applied prior to the treatment. The procedure normally takes 30-45 minutes depending on the condition and the size of the area treated. Most patients report that Profractional-XC is often less intense than laser resurfacing because only a fraction of the skin is treated.
Profractional-XC Results
Immediately following the procedure you may experience a mild redness, pinpoint bleeding, a light sunburn sensation and 2-4 days of redness and/or peeling with this procedure depending on the depth. We recommend a series of 1–4 treatments, spaced 3–6 weeks apart, depending on your needs.
You may also combine ProFractional-XC with a Micro Laser Peel, BBL, or other aesthetic procedures to further enhance your treatment results.
