Dr. Ray Fontenot is a native of Mamou, Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1980. He continued his post graduate education by completing a general surgery internship and otolaryngology residency at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1989.
Dr. Fontenot joined Southeast Texas Ear, Nose, and Throat in 1989. He completed additional training in Otolaryngic Allergy in 1994. He is board certified in Otolaryngology. Dr. Fontenot has been named as a “Super Doc” by Texas Monthly. He has been selected as one of the “Best Doctors in the U.S.” For several years he has been honored to be named Beaumont Enterprise Readers’ Choice as Best Otolaryngologist.
In addition to general ear, nose and throat care, he specializes in sinus surgery including in-office balloon procedures as well as treating allergy problems and symptoms.
Dr. Carey Jordan attended Louisiana State University with a pre-med major. He went on to graduate from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He continued his post graduate education with internships in both otolaryngology and general surgery. He completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He also completed fellowships in Facial Plastic Surgery in Switzerland and Florida. Dr. Jordan is board certified in Otolaryngology as well as Otolaryngic Allergy. He has taught at UTMB Galveston.
Dr. Jordan joined Southeast Texas Ear, Nose, & Throat, LLP in 1986. He has served as the Medical Director for Sleep Labs of Texas and Chief of Staff at Baptist Hospital, Beaumont. Dr. Jordan was the recipient of the 2006 Richard Shorkey Award for Outstanding Physician. He has been named by Texas Monthly as one of the “Super Docs” and is perennially recognized as one of the “Best Doctors in the U.S.” Dr. Jordan specializes in the treatment of allergies and offers minimally invasive, in-office Balloon Sinuplasty™.

William E. O’Mara
Dr. William O’Mara is a 1994 graduate of University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). He attended medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. His residency training was completed at Tulane University School of Medicine. He continued his training with a fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of Missouri.
Dr. O’Mara joined Southeast Texas Ear, Nose, and Throat in 2003. He is board certified in both Otolaryngology as well as Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. O’Mara is also the medical director of Facial Plastic Surgery of Beaumont.
Dr. Steve Parks is a native of Sulphur, Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He continued his post graduate education with an internship at Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He completed residencies in General Surgery and Otolaryngology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Dr. Parks has served as staff at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Oakland, California. He has taught at UTMB and in the physician lecture series at St. Elizabeth Hospital on the subject of head and neck cancers. Dr. Parks is a founding partner of Southeast Texas Ear, Nose, and Throat, LLP. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology.
Dr. Jeremy Roebuck is a native of Beaumont. He graduated from Lamar University in 1996. He graduated from the University of Texas Houston School of Medicine. His residency training in General Surgery and Otolaryngology was completed in Houston. Dr. Roebuck spent a year in Neurotology fellowship at the Minnesota Ear, Head, and Neck Clinic in Minneapolis.
Dr. Roebuck joined Southeast Texas Ear, Nose, and Throat in 2007. Dr. Roebuck performed the first Cochlear Implant surgery in Beaumont as well as the first Baha implanted hearing device. He specializes in minimally invasive sinus surgery and pediatric Balloon Sinuplasty™. He is the 2015 winner of the Beaumont Enterprise award for best Ear, Nose, and Throat physician in Beaumont.
Dr. Roebuck is on staff at Baptist Beaumont Hospital, St. Elizabeth Hospital, and Victory Hospital. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology.
Christian Corbitt, MD was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin for his degree in Biochemistry before graduating from medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Corbitt completed his residency and research fellowship from the Baylor College of Medicine in June of 2016. Through his residency he was able to train in the Texas Medical Center at hospitals including Texas Children’s Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Hospital.
Coming with new ideas and the latest technological instruction he joined Southeast Texas Ear, Nose & Throat the summer of 2016. He and his family are happy to be a part of this community. He looks forward to the opportunity to care and get to know his patients. He practices all facets of a general ENT practice including ear, sinus, allergy, pediatric, voice and head and neck issues.

Dr. Shannon Frugia is a native of Southeast Texas. She studied Communication Disorders at Lamar University. She received her Masters in Audiology at Lamar University in 1998. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida in 2002. Dr. Frugia served as Audiology Clinic Coordinator at Lamar Speech, Hearing, and Deafness Center for two years. She joined Southeast Texas Ear, Nose, & Throat, LLP in 2000.
Dr. Frugia specializes in hearing loss and its treatments, including amplification, Cochlear Implants, and Baha Implants. She has served as President of the Lions’ International District 2-S1 Hearing Aid Recycling Program, as well as the District Hearing and Speech Chair.
Dr. Joni Ruiz is a native of Mauriceville. Dr. Ruiz graduated with her Bachelors’ Degree in Communication Disorders from Lamar University. During her graduate studies, she served a one year internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. Her duties included evaluating and treating soldiers returning from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
She earned her Doctor of Audiology Degree from Lamar University. She is certified by the American Board of Audiology. Dr. Ruiz joined Southeast Texas Ear, Nose, & Throat, LLP in 2010. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of tinnitus.
Dr. Brytni Borel is a native of Port Neches. Dr. Borel graduated from Lamar University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders. She received her Doctorate in Audiology from Lamar University in 2012. Dr. Borel joined Southeast Texas Ear, Nose & Throat in July of 2012.
Dr. Borel specializes in hearing loss and its treatments, especially hearing instrument technology. She is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Jacqueline Dugas is a native of Orange. She received her Bachelor’s degree in 2004 from Lamar University. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 2009.
She joined Southeast Texas ENT in 2014, and is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Amye Walters is a native of Beaumont, TX. Amye graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Lamar University in 2007. She received her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston in 2012.
Amye joined Southeast Texas Ear, Nose & Throat, LLP in 2008. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Cindy Busch joined Southeast Texas Ear, Nose & Throat, LLP in 2001 as Administrator to this exceptional practice of five Otolaryngologists. While the majority of her life she has lived in Beaumont, she also spent four years in College Station attending Texas A&M University where she graduated with a BBA in Finance.
She brings over 30 years of management experience in the healthcare industry within the city of Beaumont to this practice. Cindy enjoys hearing from the patients about any positive comments or concerns they would like to share.
