ProFractional-XC therapy uses a laser microbeam to treat thousands of pinpoint areas of your skin. Because only a fraction of the skin is directly treated with the laser, healing time is quick and down time is short.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Is Profractional-XC<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>ProFractional-XC uses laser energy to create thousands of microscopic channels in the skin which are surrounded by areas of healthy skin. Popular areas are the face, neck and chest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ProFractional-XC is a procedure done in our office. Topical anesthetic is usually applied prior to the treatment. The procedure normally takes 30-45 minutes depending on the condition and the size of the area treated. Most patients report that Profractional-XC is often less intense than laser resurfacing because only a fraction of the skin is treated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Profractional-XC Results<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Immediately following the procedure you may experience a mild redness, pinpoint bleeding, a light sunburn sensation and 2-4 days of redness and\/or peeling with this procedure depending on the depth.
